The area has fertile soil of volcanic
origin, with an average elevation of 1.000 m.a.s.l. Its microclimate has
an average temperature of 25 C.
The rainy season, as in the rest of the Central Valley, extends from May to December, which favors the main products of the area: coffee and sugar cane.
Also, it’s an area with many sunny days throughout the year and favorable winds and other weather-orientated factors.
In general, the geographical area where the Cooperative is situated has as basic activities, the production of coffee and sugar cane.
The agricultural lands are divided among small and medium farms, which are notable because of their number.
